It would be interesting to see Les' method of firing. Steves A3 needs a completely full firebox to steam, let it go below the firehole and you've lost it....

Having now run Helen a few times I find I have to adopt the 'fill the firebox' method of firing as well. So long as the fire is up to the firehole she steams...
